The actor and producer remembered Walker as he accepted two awards for the movie Furious 7. Walker had been shooting the film when he died in a car crash in November 2013. Diesel said he had planned to hold back his emotions as he accepted the trophies for favourite movie and favourite action movie. Vin Diesel said it was a struggle to return to filming after Walker's death "You know, as I was coming up here, I always do this. I say I'm not going to get emotional about, you know, winning these awards, and I was cool when I was sitting in my seat, and then they handed me two awards.
